It’s 6 a.m. I just woke up fifteen minutes ago and am almost ready to leave for work. I grabbed my keys and pushed the button to start the car outside in the bitter cold. I heard the deep rowdy rumble of the motor while the car was warming up. About ten minutes later, I was ready to leave and walked outside to see my pride and joy. It was tangerine orange, freshly bathed, with shiny black tires. It had two thick pure white stripes running down the top of the car. The body lines were smooth and sleek like glass. The rims were eighteen inches of polished white gold. I pushed the unlock button so I could get inside.
Once inside, I sat down in my custom fitted seat. It is so welcoming to sit in this heated white soft leather surface. I put the key in the ignition and the voice-activated prompt came on. It said, “Welcome Nick.” I am able to tell it my destination and it gives me directions there without pushing even one button. I snap my safety belt into place and am ready to go. Before I am ready to pull out of the drive, I place my iphone on its deck so it can play my favorite playlist through the 900 watt stereo system while I drive to work.
Driving down the road, I go over a bump, but I don’t feel a thing. I have air ride shocks on this car and they make the smoothest ride around. My coffee barely even vibrates when I pass this bump. There is an abundance of power under the hood. When you open the hood there is so much chrome, you have to give your eyes a chance to adjust it is so bright. There are stainless steel braided hoses feeding this eight hundred horsepower motor oil. It is a sight to see. My GPS just told me destination on left; I guess it is time to go to work.

Gorgeous imagery, Nick!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like the best ride ever made. I hope one day I can have a car or suv of my dreams.
